Elle was an amazing doula and I am so happy I chose her/chose to hire a doula. She made life so much easier. She provided me with so many tips, tools and knowledge, which allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy rather than stress and research things. She and I clicked so well and although I ended up having an emergency c-section she was STILL supportive and helpful right before I went in for surgery. I would choose Elle over and over again! And will for my next baby 🙂 I personally would not change a thing from my experience, Elle was so much more than I could ask for. She was a pillar of support and encouragement that I needed. and i could vent/confide in her!

I couldn’t have asked for a better doula, Elise was everything I could have hoped for and more. I knew from our first interview she was the one – she is extremely professional, educated, informed and her passion and enthusiasm for her job radiated even through the phone. I was looking for a laundry list of qualifications on top of innately being able to connect with someone on an intimate level and she made it so easy and accessible. Her knowledge about all things regarding pregnancy and birth was expansive and the way she incorporated traditional and alternative wellness practices made her the full package. I know for a fact I wouldn’t have had such a successful, healthy, safe and happy journey if it weren’t for her. I never felt judged, I always felt confident and she never overstepped her boundaries with me or anyone else in the process. I would recommend her at the highest regards to anyone. She went above and beyond, I couldn’t have asked for anything better from a doula experience and support.

Elise supported me from 3 months before I was even pregnant, to and through the birth. She added many modalities to her practice throughout the time I worked with her, and we were able to use many of them to add to my experience and toolbox through out pregnancy. During labor and birth, Elise was present and incredibly supportive and calming. She supported me in making decisions, and encouraged me to follow my wishes to achieve the type of birth I truly desired. She even referred me to other practitioners (for placenta encapsulation, for instance) that could offer services that she did not. Overall, I had an overwhelmingly positive experience working with Elise, and would recommend her highly to any pregnant, birthing, or postpartum person. Elise went above and beyond all expectations. I cannot think of anything she could do to add to my experience.. She was amazing and I had an incredibly positive pregnancy and birth experience, in large part due to her support and guidance.

Elise was an incredible asset during my prenatal period, labor, delivery, and postnatal period. Before working with Elise, my partner and I felt nervous and overwhelmed by our experiences with OB care and our own planning for the birth of our son. Our sessions with Elise were incredibly informative and supportive–she is very well organized, caring, and clearly invested in understanding what her clients want from their birth experience. She never judged our choices for care or interventions. She worked hard to help support our efforts to have the birth that I wanted. My spouse also felt calmer during our stay at the hospital thanks to Elise’s presence and all that he had learned during our sessions with her beforehand. Even when things did not go as planned during my labor at the hospital, I felt calm and prepared for the alternative path thanks to Elise’s informative sessions and preparations in the months leading up to delivery. I am so glad we found her!

Elise was truly incredible. My husband and I were so grateful to have her on our team for my first birth experience. From the beginning, she was professional and supportive and exhibited a profound expertise and passion for preparing for birth and baby. I will absolutely recommend Elise for any of my local friends who are pregnant in the future. I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without Elise! I felt so, so well-prepared for our birth and for bringing baby home. The biggest positive of the whole experience for me was that I didn’t have to spend time focusing on preparing for labor and delivery and instead I could focus on readying my home, myself, and my partner for bringing home baby and taking care of him (although Elise had so many helpful resources for that too!). Elise went above and beyond from the moment I contacted her in January before my July birth, and I knew I was in good hands. She was an endless wealth of resources and support as I neared the end of my pregnancy.

Elise was the greatest Doula in the world. I genuinely do not know how I would’ve made it through my whole pregnancy, labour and postpartum experience without her. She took care of me emotionally, mentally and physically from the get go. She was there for the most challenging time of my life during labour and postpartum. I wouldn’t have changed a thing and highly recommend her as a Doula. She was an angel when I needed it most.

Elise was an incredible support to me during the postpartum time. This was our 4th child, but my first time with dedicated postpartum support. I think her greatest assets were that she was both incredibly organized but also flexible. She always showed up with a game plan or ready to make one with me, but at the same time could pivot if need be. She focused on cooking which was one of my main concerns and she was so helpful in that area. She was amazing with my 3 older children, they loved her. And she was naturally comfortable and attentive to our newborn when needed. She kept track of things related to my health and the newborns health, which was also so helpful. In the end, she was helpful to me and also helped care for me, which was exactly was I was hoping for!

My doula was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and patient. During our sessions, me and my partner both learned a lot from her. Even outside of our sessions, she would check up on me and I could ask her any questions that I had. She made me feel comfortable to trust her throughout the whole experience. As a first time mom, she helped both me and my partner so much in preparing for birth and parenthood; and she helped make the experience less scary and more exciting! She was perfect. Everything I would have hoped for in a doula.

I was very pleased with the support and care I received from my doula during my hospital stay and postpartum period. I would definitely recommend her services to others. She is thorough and well intentioned and eager to learn and grow. I was impressed from the beginning with my doula’s attention to detail and her knowledge base. These aspects helped me to feel comfortable and build a sense of trust. She was there even though my child came very early and showed up on days we had not blocked out to support me in my recovery and hospital stay. I really appreciated her work ethic and time caring for my little one postpartum and would highly recommend her to others!

I was SO happy to have Elise as my doula. She provided my boyfriend and I with so much information. Her check-ins were timed perfectly when I would be in need or needed to vent. Elise was the emotional support that I needed during a stressful induction and I was truly grateful to have her by my side. I couldn’t have done it without her. Even the nurses commented on her attentiveness and attention to detail (as the medications would give me hypertension). The next baby will be planned and we’ll for sure have Elise by our side again.

If you’re looking for a doula, Elise is the best! While I was pregnant, she kept me informed about the changes my body was going through and what to expect during labor. It kept my mind at ease knowing I had someone letting me know what I was enduring was normal. she went above and beyond by staying overnight at the hospital with me and my partner while I was in labor to make sure we had the full support we needed. I highly recommend Elise as your doula as she is respectful, patient, and very passionate about what she does. You can always count on her.

My husband and I are so happy we had Elise as our doula. This was our first baby so we had A LOT of questions. Elise always gave us answers to all of them and then even more info we didn’t know to ask about, which was extremely helpful. She is so professional and very very kind. Her response time is extremely fast and she checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing which just showed how much she truly cares. She also gave me tips on what to eat and simple exercises to do to make sure my pregnancy and delivery was as comfortable and pleasant as it could possibly be. Elise was very personable. Over the course of our work together she ensured that my husband and I were both comfortable and knowledgeable about the birthing process. We were provided a lot of useful information that we were able to implement. Additionally, part of the work we did was to address emotional blockages that could impact my birth experience via tapping and affirmations. She offered a good number of prenatal sessions which were full of valuable information. Through these sessions we were able to develop a warm and safe rapport.

Elise was a phenomenal help before, during and after birth! She was able to explain everything to both me and my child’s father very well. It helped us understand the process during childbirth and breastfeeding overall. She was so kind and very knowledgeable. I was able to feel better prepared after meeting her. Elise provided amazing support before, during, and after my birth. When I found out I was pregnant, I was terrified. From our first phone call, I felt instantly calmer and how much she truly cared. She provided much needed education to my partner and I during our prenatal sessions, and taught us valuable skills that would soon help with my labor. When things didn’t go as planned during my labor, Elise provided calmness, compassion, and positivity. Without Elise, I’m not sure how we would have gotten through it! During our postnatal session, we were amazed at how Elise seemed to know exactly what our baby needed. We are now able to implement the techniques she showed us on a daily basis. I highly recommend Elise to anyone looking for a doula!

My experience with Elise was fantastic! One of my favorite things about her is how comfortable she made me feel no matter how silly the question while I was pregnant how vulnerable I was during labor. This was my first pregnancy and I believe Elise’s services were essential.
